Golf Privacy Policy
This privacy policy governs your use of a software application (“Chip Shot Golf” and “Chip Shot Golf Free”) or similar name describing the free and paid versions of the golf game for mobile devices that was created by Apporilla.
Data Collection
This application may transmit personal information to our servers limited to the ip address of the device at the time the application is launched for the purpose of checking if newer versions of the application are available. This information is not persisted or shared with anyone. A local history of game play may be stored on the device.
Third Party – Scoreloop
In order to enhance the user experience by showing users scores from the best players, both the free and paid versions of this application implement the Scoreloop SDK (www.scoreloop.com). Scoreloop makes a connection to its own servers from within this application and sends to it’s own servers personal information such as unique device identifiers and ip address at the time of the connection and possibly other information that we are not aware of. Automatic Data Collection and Advertising
We work with advertisers and third party advertising networks, who need to know how you interact with advertising provided in the Application which helps us keep the cost of the Application free. Advertisers and advertising networks use some of the information collected by the Application, including the unique identification ID of your mobile device, ip address, wifi mac address, IMEI or phone number. To protect the anonymity of this information, they generally use an encryption technology to help ensure that these third parties can’t identify you personally. These third parties may also obtain anonymous information about other applications you’ve downloaded to your mobile device, the mobile websites you visit, your non-precise location information (e.g., your zip code), and other nonprecise location information in order to help analyze and serve anonymous targeted advertising on the Application and elsewhere.
The free version of this application contains advertisements, however the paid version does not. Nothing is sent to advertisers in the the paid version of this game.
What are my opt-out rights?
Mobile application developers should be aware of which mobile advertising networks and other third parties they are working with in order to determine if that ad network or other third party is offering an opt-out. We recognize that the mobile marketplace continues to experiment with different types of opt-out mechanisms – and strongly encourage the mobile application developer community to participate in these experiments to the benefit of consumer privacy interests.
Opt-out options for users of this Application
Opt-out of all information collection by uninstalling the Application – You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You
may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We do not retain any data about you or your useage. Third-Party advertisers have their own policy regaring data retention. For a list of advertisers, please contact privacy@apporilla.com with the version number of your app (ex 1.1)
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here.
Your Consent
By using the Services, you are consenting to our processing of User Provided and Automatically Collection information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. “Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the U.S. your information will be transferred to the U.S., and processed and stored there under U.S. privacy standards.
